I offer a cleaning service and repair service for Coolscans on Ebay, which you will probably (statistically speaking) need if you buy from other sellers. Almost everyone of these units have dirty mirrors, degrading the image. The seller will say the unit works fine and then i get it and it scans all blue which indicates a filthy mirror, and it did not happen in shipping. I find that at least HALF of the dozens and dozens of Coolscans i buy on eBay, either do not work or have various levels of scan degradation due to dirty mirrors.
